Changeis, Inc. Cover Letter
02-13-23
Good afternoon!
I am interested in the Communications Specialist position with Changeis, Inc. and their project supporting Volpe National Transportations Systems Center.
I am a creative, critical thinking communications and marketing strategist with almost 15 years’ experience. I am looking to apply my skills in a new, progressive, and challenging way.
Changeis would greatly benefit from my creative insight, ability to find solutions, and talent in uniting and inspiring others toward a common cause. I’ve enjoyed continued success working with executives, writers, creatives, and individuals to meet their goals. I am an excellent project manager with expertise in communication and marketing strategy, content development and communications, and even human resource and management experience. I am experienced in marketing plans, finance and budgeting, and contract negotiation. Through innovative solutions, I’ve developed, maintained, and improve my clients’ marketing and communications strategies, messages, projects, presentations, and stories. I am well-versed in CMS, SEO, analytics, and Sharepoint. I also easily adapt to new technologies.
My skill set runs the gamut across marketing and communications, from written communications, persuasive presentations, project management, and to event organization. During my time obtaining my MBA in International Business, fellow students and teachers alike were intrigued that a “creative” with a fine arts degree was interested in pursuing a graduate degree in international business. My response was simple, I relish using both sides of my brain.
My obsession with creativity, research, data, and trends revealed itself not only through my clients’ projects but also in the science thrillers I’ve written. You may find this fact odd, but I LOVED the research aspect of reading scholarly papers to build the pandemic facts (both published prior to COVID) and a genetically engineered virus. I was able to take difficult to understand scientific concepts, specifically genetic engineering, and explain them in comprehendible terms and leave the reader begging for more. For a transportation company, I could transform their vision through branding and communications support.
I chose to stay at home to raise my children when they were born, which explains the gap on my resume. During that time, I was able to apply my skills to the various professional and volunteer activities in which I either spearheaded or participated. Anyone who has volunteered with a PTA knows that the most successful events are run by an even tempered, crisis manager. As my children got older I was able to build my business under the name, “Lena Robin Writes”. Now, I am ready to return to a full-time position that will utilize my abilities to their fullest.
I would love the opportunity to speak with you about the position with Changeis. I think we would mutually benefit from a working relationship in which my creativity and strategic thinking could be fully utilized to your advantage as well as a position I would relish.
Regards,
Lena Robin Berchielli
